Rafa Ramos has left Salisbury FC after finding the chance to play limited.

The striker had been limited to appearances from the bench so far this season and has the made the decision to look for new opportunities elsewhere in football.

The goalscorer arrived at the Ray Mac in the summer after leading the line and scoring 28 goals in all competitions for Gosport Borough last season with manager Brian Dutton calling him a 'thorn in our side' each time he played against the Whites.

Ramos said on social media, "I’ve made the decision to leave Salisbury FC and seek a new adventure and regular game time.

I feel like I deserved more but that’s football at times. Just want to thank the fans for all the support since my arrival at the club. The sun will shine again."
