A man in his 90s was taken to hospital after a crash on the A338 near Winterbourne Gunner.
The collision involved two cars and led to the road being closed while emergency services dealt with the scene.
Firefighters from Amesbury and Salisbury released the driver from a vehicle yesterday.
Police say his injuries were not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening, and no arrests were made.
