Man due in court charged with murder of baby

A man is due in court tomorrow, charged with the murder of a baby.

Jamie Fulford, 26, of Tournament Road, Salisbury, is remanded in custody and due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday (2/6) for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

On September 1, 2022, a four-week-old baby boy was admitted to Salisbury District Hospital with serious injuries, but sadly died on September 9.

The baby’s mother, Sophie Egerton, 22, of Tournament Road, is also due to appear charged with causing or allowing harm/death of a child.
