A new health store will open its first high street store in Salisbury next Tuesday (25th August 2026), creating 5 local jobs and bringing a new ‘health-focused retail offering’ to the city.
The new health and wellness Healthspan store will sell vitamins, supplements and products that support sports nutrition, skincare and pet supplements is located on the junction of Butcher Row and Fish Row.
Their Salisbury store is the first of three planned openings this year, with further locations set to open later in the year.
Healthspan CEO Martin Talbot will officially open the store and cut the ribbon at 11am after a ‘loyal customer’ event.
The store says it will offer 'a wide range of products alongside trained staff' who will be available to answer questions and help customers choose products suited to their needs.
The move comes as more people take a proactive approach to their health, with growing demand for reassurance and guidance when navigating supplements.
Healthspan says the new store has been designed to give Salisbury customers the opportunity to speak to someone in person, ask questions and feel more confident about their choices, complementing its existing online and call centre services.
Martin Talbot, Healthspan CEO, said, “Opening our first stores on the High Street is a significant step for Healthspan and one shaped by customer insight.
“We know from our call centre that people increasingly want guidance when choosing supplements, and that confidence is something we can now offer in person.”
Healthspan also says it aims to complement existing city centre businesses and ‘contribute positively’ to footfall by attracting customers already interested in health and wellbeing.
Salisbury’s Branch Manager Tim Hampton adds, “We are really looking forward to opening the store in Salisbury and welcoming customers through the door.
“A big part of what we offer is the opportunity for people to come in, ask questions and have a proper conversation about their health. Many customers are taking more than one supplement and are not always sure what is right for them, so being able to talk that through in person makes a real difference.
"We want the store to feel approachable and helpful, somewhere people can come in and leave feeling clearer and more confident about their choices.”
