Laverstock and Ford FC have ended their season on a high after winning the Wiltshire FA Premier Shield.
After a record-breaking league campaign and a successful run in the FA Cup, it was a fitting end to the season for Liam McConnell's side, who missed out on promotion in heartbreaking fashion at the weekend.
The 'Bulldogs' were beaten in Saturday's playoff final away at Portland United on penalties after playing out a goalless draw, including extra time.
However, just a few days later, they had a chance at silverware, travelling to Melksham to take on Westbury United in the Wiltshire Premier Shield Final. It's a competition that sees all the senior sides in Wiltshire, including Swindon Town and Salisbury, compete.
The only goal of the game came in the first half and was scored by TJ Moseley, who is also a PE teacher at the Burgate School.

The trophy was lifted by Adam Bourner and Archie Lovegrove, who have both been at Laverstock since 2015/16, along with McConnell, ending a season which saw the club achieve its highest ever league position.
