Clarendon Juniors FC hosted a hugely successful charity football match at Barry’s Field, Winterslow, raising an incredible £551.75 for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
The event was organised by Clarendon Juniors FC U7’s Reds coach Steve Smith and brought together coaches from Clarendon Juniors FC and Salisbury FC Youth for a memorable evening of football, fundraising, and community spirit.
More than 200 spectators attended the match, creating a fantastic atmosphere as supporters cheered on both teams throughout a closely contested game. Clarendon Juniors FC eventually secured a 2-1 victory, but the real winner on the night was Salisbury Hospice Charity.

The fundraiser highlighted the strength of the local football community, with players, volunteers, families, and supporters all coming together to support an important local cause.
Steve Smith said: “We are absolutely delighted with the support shown by everyone involved. The turnout and generosity from the community were incredible, and to raise over £550 for Salisbury Hospice Charity is something we are all very proud of. A huge thank you goes to everyone who played, volunteered, donated, and supported the event.”

Clarendon Juniors FC would also like to thank Salisbury FC Youth, all volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making the evening such a success.
The money raised will help Salisbury Hospice Charity continue providing vital care and support to patients and families across the local community.
