Police Appeal After Children Approached at St Peters Place

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in the St Peter's Place area of Salisbury yesterday (25th September) at approximately 7.30 pm.

A dark coloured car, with two male occupants inside, reportedly approached two 10-year-old children along Wyvern Row. No injuries were reported.

Detective Inspector Eirin Martin, South CID, said: "We understand that this is a concerning incident for the local community, please be assured that officers are conducting multiple lines of enquiry.

"We will continue to maintain a high visibility policing presence in the local area.

"Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact 999 quoting log 343 of yesterday's date (25/09).

"I'd also encourage anyone who has been involved in a similar type of incident or is aware of one to report it to us via our website or by calling 101.

"If a crime is in progress, always call 999."
