Salisbury Radio are sponsoring the inaugural Salisbury FC Schools Penalty Challenge, inviting local schools to send a team of Year 5/6 students to take penalties out on the pitch during half-time at home games against another school.

Tonight, Salisbury Radio hosted the gala for the Local Hero Awards, held at The Stones Hotel, and gave thanks to the local businesses that came together to make the event happen.

Old Sarum & Longhedge Community Pantry is an award-winning food waste project, run by community volunteers, that supports over 400 households. Having recently posted a notice on Facebook asking for donations via an Amazon Wishlist, they were overwhelmed with support and received over 1000 donations from the community.
