Forest Schools Minibus has Wheels Stolen

A minibus, used by three New Forest Primary Schools, has had all of its wheels stolen overnight.

Hale, Hyde and Breamore Primary Schools in the New Forest rely on the bus to transport children between the three school sites. The three schools together make up the Forest Edge Learning Federation.

It enables children to work collaboratively, attend after-school clubs, and participate in enrichment activities - all of which will be affected until the minibus can be repaired with four brand new wheels.

Posting on their social media accounts, Breamore Primary School said, "We’re very sad to share that our lovely federation minibus has been targeted by thieves and all of its wheels were stolen overnight. 💔

"This is not only disheartening for our very small school community, but it also has a big impact on our federation of 3 schools. Hale Primary School Hyde Church of England Primary School.

"We rely on this minibus to transport children between our school sites.

"Our after-school clubs and enrichment activities could be affected until we can get the bus repaired which will be such a shame for our children.

"If anyone in the community saw anything suspicious near the school or has any information that could help, please contact us or the local authorities.

"Thank you for your continued support and understanding. Our school spirit is stronger than ever, even in moments like this.

"Grace, Respect and Courage always 💙"
