Salisbury's latest bar is opening its doors today - Friday 16th October - as Bill’s Bar prepares to welcome customers to the former Bridge Tap following an extensive refurbishment.
The venue is set to bring a mix of live sport, games and entertainment to the city centre, with live sports throughout the venue on numerous screens, interactive darts, a pool table and a dedicated DJ booth, giving customers plenty of options beyond the usual trip to the pub. ‘Boozy Brunches’ will be available to book, with food being served daily from midday. There will also be a photo booth for capturing snaps with friends and family, alongside a beer pong table and shuffleboard for those looking to add a little extra fun to their visit. Karaoke is another addition planned for the venue, with the team hoping to introduce it before Christmas.
The bar will also be dog-friendly, meaning four-legged companions are welcome to join their owners.
Ben Robbins, Operations Manager at Taste The World, the parent company behind Bill’s Bar, said the team was looking forward to opening in what he described as an iconic location in Salisbury:
“We’ve completely refurbed the place in the last few months and we’re really proud of how it looks. As a dedicated sports bar, we’ve got plenty to offer residents and visitors alike. Aside from all of the interactive games we've got, it also gives a place for people to come and enjoy the night if they don't want to spend the latter part of their evenings in a nightclub - we offer something different. Boozy Brunches will be available to book during the day, and we’ve got a private section called ‘The Dugout’ at the back of the bar that can be booked for match day football. When the karaoke rooms are finished, they’ll be available for booking too”.
Bill’s Bar opens today - Friday - at 4pm at the former Bridge Tap in Salisbury on Fisherton Street, with daily opening hours from 11am. Bookings can be made online at www.billsbarsalisbury.com.
