Three people have been taken to hospital following a collision on the A30 this morning (21st July).
The collision happened on the A30 near the junction of Old Malthouse Lane, with the road being closed in both directions.
The road has now reopened in both directions.
Police said at the time, "Please be aware of road closures currently in place on the A30 at Firsdown, north of Salisbury - following a road traffic collision.
"Diversions are in place from the junction with the A338 and the Porton Down Junction. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area. Thank you for your patience."
The police later added that the collision involved four vehicles: a VW campervan, a Skoda Octavia, a Ford Transit van, and a Skoda Fabia.
Police confirmed, "No reported serious injuries but three people are being taken to hospital as a precaution."
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust made a statement on the collision: “We were called at 08:31hrs on Tuesday 21 July to a road traffic collision in Salisbury. We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, and an operations officer to the scene. We conveyed three patients by land ambulances to Salisbury District Hospital.”
