This year, the Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Atiqul Hoque, is holding a Christmas card competition and encouraging local children up to the age of 13 years old to design his annual Christmas Card.
The card will feature the winner’s name and age and will be sent locally and to overseas destinations such as the Sister Cities in Maryland, USA, and the Twinning Cities of both Xanten and Saintes.
The Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Atiqul Hoque, said, “Salisbury is the City of stars this Christmastime, and I am looking for fantastic colourful entries around this theme.
"We have so many artistically talented young people in our City, and I can't wait to see all of the different entries that come in. Good luck."
A template entry form is available via the Council’s website here https://salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk/take-part-in-the-2023-mayors-christmas-card-competition/ or from the Information Centre in Fish Row; all entries must be submitted by 30th November.
The winner will be announced shortly after the closing date.
