Salisbury Cathedral is set to host a special Easter concert celebrating the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
The performance will take place on Saturday 9 May and will feature the Cathedral Choir alongside renowned ensemble Florilegium.
The programme includes Bach’s Easter Oratorio and Ascension Oratorio, alongside his well-known Air on the G String.
The works explore themes of resurrection and ascension through expressive choral and instrumental music.
Director of Music David Halls said it is a privilege to bring the composer’s music to life with young singers.
Organisers say the concert will showcase the richness and drama of Baroque music.
Tickets are now available, with proceeds supporting the Cathedral’s Choral Foundation.
