The Hair Extension Cave has won a regional award at The English Hair and Beauty Awards, winning Hair Extension Specialist of the year.
The salon, based on Silver Street, right next to the Poultry Cross, attended the gala event at The Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton and walked away with the prize.
This builds on their win at the British Hair and Beauty Awards in 2022, where they also won Hair Extension Specialists of the year.
The team were winners on the night when there were thousands of entries from across the whole of the south east, south west and London. The team were pleased to be finalists, given the strength of the competition.
Molly Cook, the owner of The Hair Extension Cave, said, "I let all the staff know that there is some amazing talent there, and the award is for the whole south west, south east and London, so we are very lucky to be in the finals, but I’m not sure if we will be coming away with an award and we should make the most out of the night together.
"But little did we know that we actually won the hair extension specialists of the year for 2023 out of the whole region!
"It’s absolutely amazing we were all so happy, and it gives us so much more motivation to carry on doing our best every day and keep up to date with all the latest training and providing the latest training in our training academy.
"Since opening the new salon after the pandemic, now going through a cost of living crisis and our bills and product costs tripling, it’s very, very hard, but thanks to our amazing staff and loyal customers and this award, we have been able to keep doing what we all love doing - making people look and feel amazing."
