Thrill-seekers are invited to take part in a brand-new challenge to raise money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Combining fundraising for a fantastic cause with the ultimate adrenaline rush, the Zipwire Experience at Allianz Stadium Twickenham, on 18th October 2026, is an event not to be missed.
After being safely strapped in, participants will launch themselves across the iconic pitch, soaring 100ft above the pitch! During 800ft of pure exhilaration, they will wave to the crowd, take in the moment, and observe stunning views across the stadium from a rarely seen perspective.
The zipwire challenge is the latest in a diverse history of fundraising events and challenges offered by the charity, including sponsored walks such as Midnight Walk (19th September) and The Big Try (March 2027).
Community & Challenges fundraiser Hen Creasey commented, “We’re thrilled that we’re able to offer this unique event, courtesy of Big Bang Experiences, to our supporters. We rely on the generosity of fundraisers to help us continue the vital work here at the hospice, and they are such an integral part of the hospice community, so sharing this milestone moment with them will be really special.”
Funds raised will directly support Salisbury Hospice, helping provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care. Offered at no cost, these services are essential to many local people, offering dignity, comfort, and reassurance during some of the hardest times of their lives. Salisbury Hospice Charity is encouraging everyone who takes part to raise a sponsorship total of £250 to help fund this compassionate care.
