Salisbury City Council unwraps fully festive line-up of events for Christmas 2024

Salisbury City Council has announced an "exciting line-up of events" for the 2024 festive season, ensuring a Christmas to remember for all!

Salisbury Market Place and Guildhall Square will come alive with various family-friendly activities, twinkling lights, and holiday cheer.

Christmas Begins: 15th November 2024
Kicking off the festive season, at the Salisbury Market Place for Christmas, which begins on 15th November.

From 1pm to 8pm, enjoy live music, entertainment, festive stalls, delicious food and drink, and the opening of Christmas on the Square.

The event is free entry for all and the "perfect way to embrace the Christmas spirit with your loved ones".

Christmas on the Square: 15th November 2024 – 5th January 2025

Santa returns to Salisbury! From 15 November until Christmas Eve, bring your children to experience the magic of Santa’s Grotto in the Guildhall Square. Gather around to hear a Christmas story, enjoy festive activities, and capture family memories with Santa.

Running from 22 November to 19 December in Guildhall Square, this is the ideal place to find handcrafted gifts and festive delights, making Christmas shopping a breeze.

Sunday Festive Markets: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd December 2024
The Sunday Festive Markets are back! Salisbury Market Place will be filled with traders offering seasonal treats and handmade gifts on the first four Sundays of December.
