Salisbury City Council has installed brand new gym equipment at Harvard Heights and Wyndham Park Open Space.
Four items of equipment have been installed including an Airwalker, Horizontal Bars and a Chest Press/Lat Pull at Harvard Heights (located next to Andrews Way in Harnham) and Horizontal Bars at Wyndham Park Open Space.
The equipment gives residents of Salisbury the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing for free in an outdoor setting.
Gym equipment is already being enjoyed by the public in other areas of the city such as Churchill Gardens with full instructions included on all pieces of kit.
Cllr Annie Riddle said, “Thank you to everyone involved for giving our community access to more free fitness equipment that can used irrespective of experience and ability. The combination of cardio and strength based exercises is perfect for all fitness goals.”
