Motorcyclist sustains serious injuries following collision on A30

A man has sustained life-changing injuries following a road traffic collision on the A30 in Fovant.

Sergeant Ben Greening from the Roads Policing Unit said, "The incident happened at around 12.50pm on Wednesday, 22 July, and involved a Volkswagen Crafter, a BMW R 1300 RS SE and a Toyota C-HR near Dean Lane.

"A 61-year-old man who was riding the BMW motorcycle was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

"Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have dashcam footage, are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 164 of 22 July 2026.

"Alternatively, you can contact the team directly by emailing SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk."
