The Salisbury and Wilton Fundraising Branch of the RNLI will participate in the charity’s annual Mayday Appeal on Saturday, April 26th.
Following the very successful Lifeboat Saturday in Guildhall Square last October, we will return to the same location from 9 am to 3 pm
The events will include a retail stall with a full range of RNLI souvenirs, performances from two local sea shanty choirs and a team from Mudeford Lifeboat Station promoting water safety.
Water safety is an increasingly important part of the RNLI’s work to teach visitors to keep themselves safe at the coast and in the water. Both adults and children are welcome to visit our team for practical information.
Catch of the Day, Kate Edgar’s ladies’ choir, will perform at 11 am in front of the Guildhall and again at 12 noon in Old George Mall. The well-known Navy Larks choir will also sing at 1 pm in front of the Guildhall and at 2 pm in Old George Mall.
