A cyclist has sadly died following a collision with a van in Wilton.
The incident happened at approximately 5.45 pm on Saturday evening (4th July).
Police said in a statement, "The cyclist had been travelling southbound on The Avenue when it collided with the front of a MAN panel van travelling northbound.
"The cyclist - a man in his 20s from Salisbury - sustained a head injury as a result of the collision and sadly died.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time, and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
"Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage should call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 274.
