Police warn that the A36 south of Salisbury will remain closed this afternoon following a collision this morning (9th July)
The A36 has been closed between Petersfinger and Brickworth Junction for the A27 near Whiteparish since this morning after police were called to an incident at 5:40 am.
Police have provided an update this afternoon, warning motorists to avoid the area and are advising that the road is expected to remain closed until at least 4 pm.
Wiltshire Police had earlier reported that the incident involved a single-vehicle collision.
