A woman has appeared in court charged with drink driving following a collision in Salisbury.
Joanne Venning, 38, of Meadow View, Bishopstone, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on May 19 and pleaded guilty to drink driving.
She was disqualified from driving for 20 months.
On March 18th this year, Venning was driving a Peugeot 2008 on the Beehive roundabout when she collided with a lamp post. When officers arrived at the scene of the collision, they arrested Venning, who smelled strongly of alcohol. She failed a roadside breath test and was taken into custody.
