Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in the early hours of Saturday (28/01) morning in Salisbury by two men. In a statement, they said: "At around 1am he was approached and pushed against a bridge on Cranebridge Road. "The two suspects made off with a handbag, belonging to the victim’s partner. "We have arrested a man from Salisbury on suspicion of robbery and he has since been released on bail. "Our officers have been carrying out house to house enquiries as they investigate what happened and we would urge any drivers who were in the area at that time to check their dash cam footage, and businesses to check their CCTV.
