Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a van and a pedestrian in Brickworth Road, Whiteparish, on Friday morning (22nd November).
At around 10.20 am, a woman in her 70s was struck by a van – a silver VW Transporter – which is thought to have left the road and mounted the pavement.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are thought to be serious.
The driver stopped at the scene, and no arrests have been made.
Wiltshire Police said, "Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have a dash cam are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 79 of Friday’s date.
"Alternatively, they can contact the team directly at SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk."
