Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a serious eye injury during an assault in Tidworth.
The incident happened on the evening of the 30th November, but was only reported to police this week (on 13th December 2021)
The victim, a man in his 20s, had been in the Royal British Legion, in Pennings Road, at around 10pm when he was assaulted.
He suffered a serious eye injury and is more than likely going to need surgery.
Det Con Ben Brewster, from Salisbury CID, said, “We appreciate that this incident happened a couple of weeks ago, but we believe that anyone who witnessed the attack is likely to remember it.
“If you were at the Royal British Legion on the evening of Tuesday 30 November and have any information which could assist our enquiries, then please call us.”
