A brand new Kia Picanto worth over £11,000, supplied by local car dealer FJ Chalke of Mere, is the star prize in the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal Christmas Raffle.
The second prize is £1,000, the third prize £500, and with many more cash prizes to be won.
Tickets are just £1 each and are available online here and from Stars Appeal ticket sellers in the hospital’s main entrance at Salisbury District Hospital.
Money raised by the raffle will help towards the £1million that the Stars Appeal aims to raise this year to fund projects at Salisbury District Hospital helping thousands of patients and the NHS staff who care for them.
Projects the charity is currently fundraising for include free Wi-Fi, accommodation for the parents’ of poorly babies and children, support for staff, programmes of entertainment and support for older people in hospital, state-of-the-art equipment, funding for a counsellor, and morale-boosting treats for staff.
You can see full details of these projects and many more, on the ‘our work’ section of the Stars Appeal website.
George Chalke, Dealer Principal of FJ Chalke said, “Having seen first-hand how local people benefit from projects funded by the Stars Appeal, like the breast unit, new scanners and parents accommodation for poorly children and babies, we are delighted to continue our support for this amazing charity.”
Dr Karinya Lewis, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Stars Appeal Ambassador further commented, “The Christmas raffle is a brilliant opportunity to support the Stars Appeal – Salisbury Hospital’s Charity, with the chance of driving away in a brand new car!
"The money raised will help make a difference for our patients and staff. Please pop online to buy your tickets or give us a call on 01722 429005 and we can post some out to you. Thank you for your support and wishing you a very happy Christmas.”
Ticket stubs must be returned to the Stars Appeal by January 10th to be included in the draw which takes place on 13th January 2022.
