In celebration of the RNLI’s 200th Anniversary, their popular Summer Garden Party is returning to Wilton House.
The Salisbury & Wilton fundraising branch of the RNLI hosts the event at Wilton House with the kind permission of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke and the Trustees of Wilton House Trust.
They invite us to join them on Friday, July 12th, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, for drinks, canapés, a jazz trio, and a raffle.
Tickets in advance at £22 each can be obtained from Ray Stedman, branch chairman, at rnliwilton@gmail.com, 07900 493215.
This is the second of two major summer fundraising events being arranged by the local branch following the highly successful Sea Shanty concert held in June at Wilton Parish church.
More than £2,500 was raised on the night and most of the funds raised will be used to support the lifesaving activities of the Mudeford Lifeboat Station.
Ray Stedman said, "The branch hopes to raise a record amount across the ten events being held in Salisbury and Wilton in 2024.
"I would like to thank the various organisations that have sponsored some of the events, including W Carter & Son, Wilton House, Woolley & Wallis and Wilton House Garden Centre."
