Salisbury FC were left frustrated after losing away at Beaconsfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
The game had been brought forward an hour to allow supporters extra time to travel home to see England lose to France on Saturday evening, and the away team started brightly.
Brian Dutton's side were moving the ball around well and created some chances. After seven minutes, Brandon Goodship drew a good save from Constable in the Beaconsfield goal.
After the first 20 minutes or so, the home side started to get back into the game. Beconsfield had a chance to take the lead as the half neared its conclusion, but Gerard Benfield saved Little's penalty on 41 minutes.
The sides level at half-time it only took 13 minutes for Beaconsfield to take the lead, Minhas the scorer on the rebound after Benfield saved from Little's initial effort.
Salisbury bounced back quickly through Brandon Goodship. Dan Fitchett was stronger than his marker, rolling him as he turned and feeding the ball into Goodship who applied the finish.
Beaconsfield reasserted themselves in what was a scrappy second half and had their second penalty of the game. This time Reid stepped up and made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-1.
Salisbury's chances of getting back into the game were dealt a hammer blow when Josh Wakefield was shown a straight red for dissent.
Beaconsfield created a few more chances but were unable to take them and comfortably saw out the game.
Salisbury FC Women's fixture on Sunday was postponed due to the freezing weather.
