Two men have been arrested following reports of shoplifting in Salisbury.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, "At around 4pm on Thursday (01/02) we received reports that three men were shoplifting from businesses on Southampton Road.
"Officers quickly arrived on the scene and stopped the vehicle that the suspects were travelling in. The suspects made off on foot, and two were arrested on suspicion of theft.
"Around 150 items were recovered from the car, thought to have been stolen, amounting to around £2,700, most of which have now been returned.
"A man in his 20s and a man in his 30s have bother been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
