Two 12-year-old boys arrested after barn is destroyed by fire

Two 12-year-old boys have been arrested following a barn fire at High Post Farm near the A345, north of Salisbury, on Saturday evening (17th May).

The boys have been arrested on suspicion of arson following the fire in a barn, which was destroyed along with much of its contents.

There were no reported injuries; however, it is estimated that the fire destroyed a substantial amount of farm machinery and the barn.

In a statement, police said, "We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have recorded dash cam footage or who may have footage of the fire itself or was in the area at the time.

"If you can help please call us on 101 quoting log 54250059960.

"You can also leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
