July welcomes a number of exciting events at Brown Street as tribute acts for bands such as ABBA and the Spice Girls take centre stage.
Ever since the pandemic Brown Street has helped to reinvent Salisbury's social scene, described as an 'ever-evolving creative space'. Inspired by places such as Pop Brixton, Boxpark and Pergola Olympia, Brown Street promises worthwhile events throughout the whole of July.
In the words of Thom Belk "July 21st will be all about thanking Abba for all their music" as the tribute band ABBA's Angels perform a night of all the bands hits. Established since 2000, the band features a number of talented singers creating an incredibly authentic experience. Abba's Angels have appeared on BBC 1's the One Show, BBC Breakfast, Channel 4's The Last Leg, and Sky News. Tickets are £13.50 and fancy dress is encouraged to truly go back to the 70s.
The following week is all about honouring the Spice girls as SPICE will be 'pumping out all the back catalogue' from the iconic girl band. Guaranteed to take you back to the 90s, fancy dress is once again encouraged and tickets are £16.
Accompanied with some of the best local street food (Bann DA Min Thai food, Nico's Pizzas) and a bar, Brown Street provides a thriving social scene with nostalgia on the menu across the coming month.
Another event to note is The Pop Punk Revolution Tour rolling into Brown Street Friday 14th July. Blink 182, Green Day & Jimmy Eat World tribute acts all taking you back to the early 2000s for an exciting night for pop punk fans. Tickets are £9.
