Studio Theatre are, for the very first time in 73 seasons, offering fringe events in early September this year.
The fringe event will host Salisbury-based crime writer Mark Dawson, who writes the Atticus Priest books, which are set in and around Salisbury. Dawson has millions of copies of his books, including the John Milton series, having been sold or downloaded.
It will also feature a comedy, Love and Other Passions, by Salisbury writer Peter Liney. Love and Other Passions is a comedy with serious undertones and issues dealing with family relationships and loneliness.
Finally, it will also feature The Flaming Feathers Burlesque - a professional Bristol-based Vintage Dance Group, who will be "offering a spectacular evening full of colour, foot-tapping rhythms, and eye-catching costumes".
It will be the first time they have performed at Studio Theatre.
Before the main event, there will be an opportunity to learn the art of burlesque in a workshop session open to anyone aged 18 and over (number of participants restricted to 30). Then enjoy a memorable evening of truly remarkable dancing that will appeal to all ages.
More details on the events can be found on the Studio Theatre website - https://studiotheatre.org.uk/2025/08/04/studio-fringe/
