Christmas at Stourhead has officially launched, lighting up the historic gardens with breathtaking displays that are enchanting visitors nightly.
Open until 1st January, this year’s trail is bigger, brighter, and more magical than ever, making it the perfect festive outing for families, friends, and loved ones.
This year, Stourhead’s iconic landscape is transformed into a winter wonderland with brand-new light installations that are already wowing crowds.
Among the highlights are Sea of Light by ITHACA Studio, an awe-inspiring masterpiece of thousands of synchronised LED light balls that pulse in harmony with a custom soundtrack, immersing visitors in a mesmerising symphony of light and sound.
Light a Wish by OGE Design Group, capturing the whimsical beauty of dandelion seeds floating through the air, this piece brings to life the joy and wonder of wishes taking flight.
Snowflake Show by Scot Gianelli, where towering five-meter snowflakes sparkle in rhythm with festive melodies, casting a magical glow across Stourhead’s grand landscape.
These dazzling additions join the trail’s beloved favourites, including shimmering tunnels of light, vibrant woodland displays, and the tranquil beauty of Stourhead’s famous lakeside, all adorned with over a million twinkling lights.
Don’t miss the chance to spot Father Christmas, who has been known to make special appearances along the trail.
Whether you’re exploring with family, friends, or loved ones, this festive trail promises to create new memories against the breathtaking backdrop of one of the UK’s most iconic gardens.
