Skydive record broken in Salisbury

GoSkydive has hit 10,000 tandem skydive's in 2022, setting a UK record.

On Friday 11th November 2022, with the light fading the team at GoSkydive at Old Sarum hit a golden milestone.

10,000 tandem skydives have been completed in 2022. It's a record for the company and for any UK drop zone.

Reg Green, the chief instructor at GoSkydive was the man in charge for the 10,000th jump. He said: "A massive thank you to Gordon and his team for giving me the chance to run such a great drop zone. Too many people to thank on the team, but you are all legends."

Andy from our weekday evening show was one of the 10,000 to jump with GoSkydive this year - jumping from 10,000 feet back in May in what he describes as one of his best-ever experiences. You can see his jump video below:
