Seven men have been charged following a hare coursing incident near Ludgershall.
Wiltshire Police say officers responded in the early hours of Saturday morning to reports of vehicles being used to pursue hares across rural land.
One vehicle was stopped after a pursuit on the A303 in Hampshire, while another was found abandoned.
Police say the vehicles contained dead hares, dogs and equipment linked to poaching.
Seven men have now been charged with offences relating to hunting hares with dogs.
They have been bailed to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court in August.
Officers say rural crime like hare coursing can have a serious impact on farming communities and are urging the public to report incidents.
