Salisbury make the 145 mile trip to Eastbourne for their Boxing Day clash to face a side sat just outside of the playoff places on goal difference.
Eastbourne Borough come into the game off a superb defensive display against Weston-super-Mare, where they scored the only goal of the game in the first half.
Kai Innocent grabbed the game's only goal in the 20th minute, with some resolute defending, keeping the home side at bay and lifting The Sports up the table to the precipice of the playoff places.
The result means Eastbourne are unbeaten in three after a goalless draw with Chesham United and a 1-1 draw against Hornchurch in the games since they lost 3-1 away at Maidstone United.
Salisbury come into the game after their 3-1 at the Ray Mac on Saturday against Welling United. A first-half goal from Noah Coppin sent Salisbury on the way after a brilliantly timed run from Ronan Silva, who teed up Coppin to open the scoring.
Salisbury doubled their advantage through a good finish from Jordan Ragguette before two penalties, one for each side, wrapped up the scoring, and Coppin scored from the spot to ensure all three points stayed in Wiltshire.
If you are unable to travel to the game, follow full match commentary with Andy Munns on Salisbury Radio Sport from around 2:50pm. You can listen on the website, on the Salisbury Radio app and on Amazon smart speakers, just ask it to "Play Salisbury Radio Sport".
