South Western Railway has confirmed this morning (16th November 2021) that following the train crash on Sunday 31st October, railway services in Salisbury are now back up and running.
In a joint statement from South Western Railway, Great Western Railway and Network Rail, the train companies said:
"Following a challenging two weeks for everyone on the railway and in the Salisbury area, we are pleased to be able to welcome customers back to full GWR and SWR services today.
"We'd like to thank everyone for their patience, support and understanding over the past two weeks. The whole community has pulled together and we have been inundated with messages of support.
"We are sorry for the disruption to both our customers' journeys and our lineside neighbours over the past week as the railway family has worked tirelessly to reopen the railway".
Currently, according to the live departure board, all services departing from Salisbury are running on time.
