Salisbury will mark the 81st anniversary of VE Day with a remembrance ceremony this week.
Organised by the Royal British Legion, it takes place at the War Memorial in Guildhall Square on Thursday.
Proceedings begin just before 11am, followed by a two-minute silence.
The event honours those who served and lost their lives during the Second World War.
Residents are being encouraged to attend and pay their respects.
