Salisbury Reds will run its buses on a Sunday timetable on the day of the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The local bus operator’s drivers will also be given the opportunity to watch the proceedings, with a pause in services between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
There may be further disruption for a further hour as Salisbury Reds moves all vehicles back into their correct locations.
Salisbury Reds managing director, Andrew Wickham said, “With His Majesty King Charles III declaring the day of his mother’s funeral - Monday 19 September - a Bank Holiday, we have revised our services."
“We know many of our drivers will want to observe this significant event in the history of our nation, so we are also planning a cessation of services for the duration of the funeral.
"Along with millions of people, both in the UK and across the world, many of my colleagues are feeling a sense of loss. The funeral will be an opportunity for people to come together, pay their respects, and reflect on the life of a unique monarch who lived her life in dedication of her subjects."
