Salisbury FC has announced their fixture against Hayes & Yeading FC tomorrow has been called off.
The game has been postponed due to the low temperatures that we have been experiencing over the last week or so, which will continue into tomorrow.
The club released a statement, saying:
"It will come as no surprise that we announce that the game against Hayes & Yeading, which was due to be played on Saturday, December 17th, has been postponed due to the pitch being frozen.
"During a pitch inspection today at 4 pm, it was clear to the match official that the entire pitch was frozen solid and would have no chance to thaw in time.
"This game will now be played on Tuesday, 24th January and will be a 7.45 kick-off.
"We’re disappointed that we won’t see you all on Saturday, and indeed, that would have been the last home match of 2022.
"We hope to see some of you at Winchester on Boxing Day, and then we’re back at the Mac on January 2nd when we welcome Poole Town."
