Following two months of essential works, the Salisbury Crematorium has now reopened to the public.
The closure, which took place during August and September 2024, allowed for crucial repairs and upgrades to the Crematorium's roof.
Funeral and memorial services were temporarily relocated to Salisbury’s historic Guildhall, a venue which provided an appropriate and respectful setting for bereaved families. Salisbury City Council extends its deepest thanks to the Guildhall and Crematorium staff and all involved for their unwavering professionalism and support during this time.
The Salisbury Crematorium has served the local community for many years, offering a peaceful environment for families to gather and reflect. With these necessary works now complete, the facility is fully operational and ready to continue its role in serving Salisbury and the surrounding areas.
