Salisbury City Council has announced it will be funding St John Ambulance medical cover on New Year’s Eve for the fourth year in a row.
This support ensures that residents and visitors celebrating in the city will have access to comprehensive medical assistance, including a team of four first aiders, two emergency ambulance crews, and an ambulance, ready to respond quickly to emergencies.
Cllr Sam Charleston, Leader of Salisbury City Council, said, “A huge thank you to the St John Ambulance team. We are proud to support this vital provision once again and hope everyone enjoys celebrating safely across the city.”
The partnership between Salisbury City Council and St John Ambulance highlights their shared commitment to prioritising public safety and ensuring support for the community during one of the busiest nights of the year.
