Salisbury adventurer to give talk in December

St Paul's Church in Salisbury is hosting Salisbury mountaineer Jo Bradshaw with stories of her climbs, including Everest.

Jo is a fascinating inspirational mountaineer who has climbed Everest via an earthquake and is only one peak from completing the ‘seven summits'.

In support of Alabaré, Jo will share her story with you, including her mountaineering career and her epic climbs of Everest and other highest peaks around the world’s continents.

Not only does Jo climb mountains, lead clients on expeditions and teach the next generation of adventurers, but she also encourages others to turn ‘Can I?’ into ‘I can!’ through her presentation talks.

The evening will begin with drinks and refreshments at 7 pm, with the talk beginning at 7:30 pm, followed by a Q&A.

Jo sent a message from Nepal to those who were interested in attending the event.

Jo will be on hand to chat individually and draw the all-important raffle before the event closes at 9 pm. Tickets cost £16 per person and must be booked via Eventbrite – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/an-evening-with-jo-bradshaw-mountaineer-and-inspirational-speaker-tickets-432706505807

All proceeds from this event will go to the local homeless charity Alabaré.

Alabaré's Homes, Drop-In Centres and Training Facilities provide shelter, training and support to homeless and vulnerable people in the South and South-West of England and across Wales. Alabaré helps them transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to live a fulfilled life.
