Cross Keys Shopping Centre is delighted to announce that the much-loved independent bookseller Rocketship Bookshop is now open, and has already enjoyed a fantastic first week of trading.
Having relocated from its former home on Bridge Street, Rocketship has brought its vibrant collection of children’s and young adult books to a brand new space at the heart of Cross Keys Shopping Centre. The new store continues to offer the same carefully curated selection of titles, from charming picture books to gripping young adult reads, along with expert recommendations for every age and stage of reading.
The team has been thrilled by the warm welcome from both loyal customers and new visitors, with a busy opening week that included family shoppers and young bookworms eager to explore the shelves.
“We’ve had a brilliant first week at Cross Keys,” said Russell Mardell for Rocketship Bookshop. “It’s been wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to meet new readers discovering the shop for the first time. We’re excited to be part of a retail community that supports independent businesses and offers something unique for Salisbury.”

As well as its extensive book range, the shop plans to continue hosting regular events with schools, authors and illustrators, with dates to be announced in the future.
Rocketship Bookshop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 am - 4.30 pm, and Saturdays from 9.30 am - 5.00 pm.
