The Pheasant Inn is to reopen at midday on Friday, 1st of September, ready to delight guests with a range of food and drink options.
The popular pub has been closed since its former owners relocated to Devizes.
After a renovation, the building is now ready to reopen under the management of a pub operating company which has also taken on The Bell and Crown in Salisbury.
Sam Allen, will be running the pub and is excited to get started. The pub will reopen with a refreshed food and drink offering alongside a newly appointed chef.
Sam told Salisbury Radio, "People can expect a bit of a continuation of what came before. There will be great food, a great selection of drinks and a nice atmosphere to enjoy it in.
"We open on Friday with a full offering and look forward to welcoming old and new customers."
Building renovations were continuing this morning, with some rotten windows being replaced in the courtyard, but most of the works are complete, including a repair to the damaged walls externally.
A pub has been on the site for over 300 years, and parts of the building itself are much older, having previously been a meeting place for the Shoemakers Guild and was built in the 17th century.
