Salisbury Transition City's People in the Park is back for its annual event for the fourth edition.
This year's event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th, in Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Salisbury.
The eco-friendly event, powered by a solar array and electric car, brings the people of Salisbury together to show that we can all have a great time without it costing the earth.
People in the Park is a day for the whole family.
Expect great music, happy people, and delicious food from Megh’s Kitchen, Liguori’s Pizza, and BarbecueStar.
Entry is free, as in previous years, and you can expect live music, community groups, local crafters and eco-businesses to entertain, educate and inspire greener living across our city.
Last year’s successful event saw many people visiting and staying to enjoy the live performances.
2024 will feature live music across two stages, including Signature Vision, Becca Maule, and local legends Ribble, among many others.
You will also have a chance to vote for what you think is the best sustainable cause for STC seed funding.
To keep up to date with the latest PIP24 news, check out the music lineups and stallholders, and visit the People in the Park website at www.peopleinthepark.org.
