Parents and carers of babies and young children, as well as those expecting a child, are being encouraged to take part in a new survey that will help shape future early years support and services across Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Council is seeking views from parents and carers of children aged 0 to 5, and those who are pregnant, to better understand what families need and what is working well.
The survey will help create a baseline for future planning and will inform the development of local early years services over the coming years as part of the Wiltshire Best Start in Life plan.
The survey takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until 26 October 2026
Kate Blackburn, Director of Public Health, Wiltshire Council, said: "We want to hear from as many families as possible. Whether you're expecting a child or already have young children, your experiences and views will help us understand what matters most to local families and how we can continue to develop services that meet your needs.
“This survey forms part of ongoing work to understand the needs of families with young children across Wiltshire. Feedback gathered will help inform future planning and decision-making and build a clearer picture of the support that families need now and in the future.”
Previous surveys and engagement with families have helped shape how local services are commissioned and delivered, ensuring services reflect the priorities and experiences of Wiltshire residents.
Parents and carers can complete the survey online at https://surveys.wiltshire.gov.uk/s/8yrqv2 by 26 October 2026.
