A man has sadly died following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A36 Wilton Road in Salisbury yesterday morning (16th November).
At around 11:10 am, a Kawasaki ZX motorcycle travelling towards Wilton was involved in a collision with a Skoda Enyaq, which was turning from Skew Road onto the A36.
Police said in a statement, "The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
"The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment for reportedly minor injuries.
"No arrests have been made.
"The road was closed to allow for enquiries to take place and has since reopened.
"Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting Log number 103 of yesterday’s date.
