Officers are investigating two burglaries in Salisbury in which more than £12,000 worth of jewellery was taken.
The first incident took place on Wavell Road on Monday 17th October 17 between 9.30am and 10.35am.
The second incident happened on Millbrook Road on Monday 24th October between 10:05 and 10:50am.
Wiltshire Police believe the two incidents are linked.
A spokesperson for the police said, "The suspect is described as a white male aged in his late 30’s, of a slim build and carrying a small rucksack.
"If you can help with our enquiries, or have door-bell footage or CCTV from the area around that time, please get in touch.
"Call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220112188. Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
