Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Salisbury on Sunday (22nd March).
In a statement, police said, "At around 5.15 pm, a man approached a woman on Castle Street and attempted to sell her some perfume. When she declined, he followed her, patted her bottom, and checked her pockets before walking away.
"The man was wearing a cap, a black coat, jeans, and was carrying a bag.
"It is believed that he was in a betting shop shortly beforehand. Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries, including obtaining CCTV.
